We have a range of stainless steel spokes in single diameter and Butted (two-diameter) in a blank form that we can bend, cut and thread to suit any wheel build application. We take great care to ensure that we replicate the original spoke pattern and that the spoke lengths are correct. In addition, our wheel sizes and offsets database allows us to double-check that the wheel is rebuilt and trued with the correct offset.

We can restore the hub by painting, polishing or bead blasting. We are also happy to provide and fit new bearings and spindles etc.

We offer a range of services to restore the brakes on your bike. 

To restore the braking, we reline the brake shoes with modern material to an oversize thickness, then skim the wheel hub once the wheel is complete to ensure it is round. Next, we measure the diameter, and while the shoes are mounted to the brake plate, we use the lathe to machine the shoes to the correct diameter. The process maximises the contact area of the shoes onto the braking surface of the hub to achieve the best retarding force.

Wheel balancing is essential for a smooth ride. 

Once a new tyre is fitted, it is vital to balance the wheel. This is done dynamically on a machine similar to that found in a car garage. We can locate the heavy point and, if required, rotate the tyre to reduce the additional weight needed to achieve balance.
